On Sunday people came together for a clean-up in Bhagsu. It was a shared effort of the Dharamshala Environment Preservation Network (Dhauladhar Cleaners and WasteWarriors) as part of an awareness campaign to keep the Upper Dharamshala area cleaner and healthier. The CUDP also attended this event to help spread the necessary awareness.

In the cold of December we held our monthly clean-up event at the Waterfall of Bhagsu. Various organisations from all over Dharamshala as well as several volunteers joined, 40 in total.
On November 17th we were finally able to hold our first clean-up event in several months due to COVID restrictions. About 45 volunteers followed our call for a clean Dharamshala and did their best picking up trash along McLeod Ganj road. Remember and remind others that dumping garbage causes severe damage to the environment, as it takes 450 years for plastic to decompose.
